It Blew In From ..........?

It was an icy chill,
That crept in,.
Long before the snow fell....
Deep ,in his bones it went.
Slowly......
encompassing , his heart.
Then his soul!
It weighed him down,
stopped his thoughts.
Ended his existence.
A wind?
He never knew.

It just .............blew.
