We committed a capital offense~

we betrayed our Father.



We deserve death,

but a stranger

acted as our bail bond agent.



He unleashed the shackles

and gave us our walking papers.



Death was no longer

an issue, for after death,

we would live forever.



We would commune

with the One who made us.



But in exchange for

the cancelling out of our debt,

we must serve Him.



We must walk alongside Him

in life and in eternity.



We must read

the Emancipation Proclamation~

the Holy Scriptures.



We must surrender our lives

and restore our hearts to purity.



We must be servants

to the Divine Calling,

making God our Master.



We must remember:

He bought us

to set us free...



a small price to pay for

our liberation.
