Seasons of Life

For everything we do in life,

there is an ideal season.

There is a perfect time

for a birth to take place;

there is also a time

when death is the plan.

There is a specific period

in the year to plant

and also to harvest

what has been sown.

There is an appropriate point

to tear down what is unusable

and another time to build

something in its place.

There is a right moment

to be in a peaceful state

and also a time to share

in life’s amusements.

There is a proper time

to mourn our losses

and at another time

we should cheer our gains.

There is an idyllic instance

to embrace in love

and also to abstain

from such activities.

There is a precise point

to hold to those you love

and another time to

depart from them.

There is an exact period

to explore all of life

and also to accept that

some things are lost.

There is a right time

to grip tightly

and another when

we must let go.

There is an intended moment

to mend what is broken

and also a time to

break something apart.

There is a planned time

to keep your lips sealed

and another time

to speak your mind.

There is a special instance

to love one another

and also to hate when

we do something wrong.

There is a correct period

to declare war

and another time to

make amends together.

For everything we do in life,

there is an ideal season.
