Free will is not a privilege;

it is a punishment~

the penalty for yielding

to temptation.



When Adam and Eve

bit into that fruit,

all of us paid for their sin.



The price of freedom

is death~

both physical and spiritual.



But God sent His son

on our behalf

to experience

the suffering we deserved.  



Now all we must do

is belong to Him again,

and we are truly free.



But He does not

call us slaves,

we are His children.



He bought us from the world,

gave His Son, a ransom

in exchange for our sin,

and liberated us from

Satan’s bondage.
