I found God today:

In the sparrow’s

Early morning chirp,

In the rooster’s

Alarm-clock crow.



I found God today:

In the bluest skies

I’ve ever seen,

In the flowers

Sprouting in winter.



I found God today:

In the glowing moon

Swallowing earth,

In the lullabies

Of the crickets.



I found God today

Everywhere I went,

In everything I saw,

And I believed.
