My Self was what made

Me an individual,

Characterized by my conscious

As well as the subconscious.



I was symbolized

By a deformed circle,

A little off center

But fully-contained.



My Shadow included

All my repressed limitations-

As repressed as they were

They seemed to define me.



What was a personal inferiority

Became a moral deficiency;

I thought my flaws made

Me less of a human being.
