Duel in Nature (Rewrite)

Folder:
Society

Two halves of one self

are in constant war

against each other.

Neither side is entirely good

as both have inclinations

towards evil.

One is more disposed

to resort to belligerent words;

the other retreats and hydes.

We cannot blame our dark visage

for all our sins since

we allow him to show through.

Ignoring our conscience,

we reveal the evil in us-

giving him the spotlight.

In every duel, there is

only one victor:

one must die

for the other to exist.
