You were the only One

That could rescue us.

So You clothed Yourself

In Humanity.

But we betrayed You

With a deceptive kiss.

Through your capture,

We are set free.



You were the only One

That could help us.

So You devised a plan

To soon be revealed.

But we stripped You

With mocking tongues.

Through your affliction,

We are healed.



You were the only One

That could deliver us.

So You triumphed over

The Enemy in defeat.

But we crucified You

With merciless hearts.  

Through your brokenness,

We are complete.
