I realized I was left here

Without any life support.



I was not functioning normally

And no one even cared;

I was an intensive case

In need of respiratory help.



How I need someone to feed me

Encouragement through a tube,

Acceptance intravenously.



And remind me I am not alone

In this sterile world.
