the maze of dots
and began drawing
lines, connecting
each to the next
in sequence.
I spent so much time
staring at the one
crooked line,
linking two of
a million dots
and the other
roundabout line
that circumvented
the easiest route
to the next
in the series
that I did not
realize when I had
completed the puzzle
long enough to notice
the big picture
created by the lines
revealing success
though it wasn’t flawless.
