because of our sinful nature

However, our sin brings us
closer to those who intend
to tempt us and ruin us, and
take advantage of weakness.
So we must be careful to
not let evil pull us in but
instead gravitate towards
those who can help us~
people with strong willpower
who also desire to run away
from the damaging influence of
sin and into the arms of God.
