The stars’ light twinkles~

glitter on the curtained sky;

crescent moon cradles me

as she sings her lullaby.



Midnight stars so bright,

keep on shining in sync;

maintain the sparkle when

light is catching her wink.



Stars, stop this darkness

from casting a shadow;

open the curtain draped

over the soul’s window.



I wish upon the star

shooting across the sky

that she may illuminate

our minds and our eyes.



I wish she would show us

the glow comes from within;

a truth that until dawn

the whole world will sing.
