Myrlande

I can listen to Silk's "If You" and see your smile,
But it has not been your really best feature;
Picturing your body takes me such a while,
Because I was the protegè to quite the teacher.

Myrlande, I can only run to the right woman,
And you are just not right to a man like me;
Let me go to one who shares love in common,
When I do not get nothing from you to see.

I am avaricious of you, Myrlande,
Yet you are not the one that I love;
I wonder when love comes in handy,
And this incident is one I can think of.

Myrlande, I am so sorry for leading you on,
But I hope that my words are understood;
I am parting my separate way, I must begone,
Despite of you treating me far from good.

Myrlande, Pour tout que tu fais,
je dis merci Beaucoup;
Mais, il n'importe pas ce que tu dis,
Je dois encore dire mon Adieu.
