A train would be the perfect place for an open mic poetry reading. Take over the diner car of an Amtrak train and let different poets read as the train rolls along from one city to another. The scenery would keep changing for each poet creating a surreal effect. It would be interesting to see how kinesis would affect different poets. It would add a whole new dimension to poetry performance
Hurtling the tracks
fanciful words snatched from page
and blurted in air
engine hums along in tune
providing subtle backdrop
