OUTCAST IN HIGH SCHOOL

I was an outcast in high school.  I wasn’t a nerd.  I was just an outcast.  I was the strange dude no one understand.  I was too weird even for the nerds.  There were a few who respected or liked it.  It was never enough for full social acceptance.  I just drifted about doing my own thing; the self proclaimed genius poet roaming the halls and classrooms.  I clung to my Rimbaudien visions in spire of the ostracism and abuse.

My notebooks were filled
