Seeing a bumper sticker

saying

“Don’t blame me.

I voted for Bush.”

and thinking that

I spent part

of Election day

licking bush

so I guess
that means that

it’s all my fault

although

I don’t know

Exactly what’s wrong

I’m not sure

what this guy

doesn’t want

to be blamed for

but since I licked Bush

instead

of voting for Bush

I guess I am

to blame

so if you’re

so shallow

as to think

it would make

a difference

then go right ahead

heap blame

heap all your hate

onto my shoulders

I can take it

and ultimately

risk of oral cancer aside

that probably

makes me better

than the guy

with that bumper sticker

any day of the year.
