A pain pierced

                  thru

                    my brain

         like a vapid runner

                     passing thru

             a spider web

I rubbed my eyes

                 and fell down

          I rose slightly

to my knees

          and then collapsed

                 again

The pain was too great

                   but I

              still refused

                       to die
