Now I remember

what I forgot to do

last night

I forgot to go to sleep

I spent the whole night

trying to remember

what I was supposed

to be doing

and I never actually

put myself to bed

and pulled an all nightery

you know

how it is

when hashish

is around

the assassins of thought

swing full throttle

till you don’t know

what to do

It just happens

one way
