to believe;

to hold faith

in the face of reason

to cling desperately

to false illusions

as the stars align

in the opposite direction

to falsify the beast

and sully seraphim

to wallow in conspiracies

finally debunked

as unholy terror

feeding off despair;

hypnotizing the weak

and yet

in a single moment

destiny delivers

a final blow to madness

though lingering foul tastes

smolder like ashes adhered

to the roof of our mouth.
