to get stoned

before watching

begin to fill my thought

the surreal cynicism

is poetic

in an off beat way

and I find it amusing

all the same

& the ritualistic view;
twisted irony

in intoxication

before watching a show       

about recovery

fan of irony

great admirer of careful

juxtaposition

of adverbs

and unsettled sentences

never to let the thoughts

be dominated

by negativity

My darkness is shallow

easy for one

to peel away the layers

let the radiant light;

finally shine through

a tv show is funny

and well written

well blow me down

it be the truth

so help me God
