I have

very often been

that drunk idiot

standing on the platform

waiting for the train

yet how soon I forget

when I am sober

and some other schmuck

is portraying the role

I can do no more

than shake my head

and chuckle

at the irony

I will surely refrain

from the word hypocrisy

in regards

to my own behavior
