it is getting late or getting early

depending on the direction of

the trail of salvia on your flesh



in the afternoon we could do the

late lunch on the patio of your lap



in the early morning we have a picnic

in the remnants of a beer buzz



with your anatomy drawing a tangent

into an isosceles

with the imaginary bottom line



or the yoga stretch of desire



changing cognitive perception

into the pleasure of an image

where your hips rest

and your legs tell time



making it closing time

at the rock on inn



but a beginning at the

hammock of delight
