What I Want To Ask

Hey, how are you doing?

No...

*REALLY*

How

Are

You

Doing?

Are you really happy?

Are you truly content?

Can you honestly tell me that everything you're doing now
aren't just actions to justify your pride
and make you feel better about the way that
you went?

Is being where you are everything you imagined it would be,
is it truly the right decision you made?
Is it really that different in a positive light
than the life you could've had
in the area by the bay?

Do you really think that you could find there
what you think you couldn't find
in the last place you left behind?

Do you think that is the place
to unlock the passion you have
that's locked so deep inside?

Is it the right environment to put you in a place of growth?

Will it nurture you and provide all that you need?

Really be honest and ask yourself if
the answer is truly yes or truly no...

If the answer's yes, then at peace I'll be
and wish you all the best.

If the answer's no, then I'd ask you
to seek in truth the answer in your soul
as to the right direction to go.

What I'm not asking is for you to return,
though if you so desired, all you'd have to do is knock.

The reality is that I'm just concerned,
cause in your happiness is where I've some stock.

Even if it's not with me, though I won't lie,
I wish it would be,
I'd want to be certain that in complete honesty
with yourself and me,
that the direction you are now headed is
going to truly make you happy.

I am moving on because you asked,
but in this last summary of asks,
I send to the universe one last chance
on your behalf
to correct any potential mishaps
or to be settled in your current tasks.

Are you happy?

Do you really feel that you're in the right place?

If so, then from here on out, whatever took place
between us outside of friendship
will from my memory be erased.
