There’s worse things

than being stuck in Austin

for an overnighter.

The plane wouldn’t fly

and alternative travel plans

became nessa.

An uber ride to Live Oak Brewery

allowed for a few grodziskes 

and time to hash out a game plan.

I was feeling content.

Another ride to Rainey ST

before retiring to the hotel 

Drinking Texas beer at Craft Pride 

and Banger before

settling for Indian food

at Garaj Mahal.

I should’ve been in Colorado

already but the fates

conspired against me.

Austin is always fun

even when you’re there

against your will.
