the senility (self imposed)

has already kicked in.

Common sense is gone.

A man that can’t 

remember 9-11

need not be an attorney;

need not be lecturing others

in a public forum.

You said you’d never forget

as you stood in the ashes

and waded through the rubble.

You swore you would never forget

but apparently you did.

We all heard you say 

that it didn’t happen.

You said the terror started 

on someone else’s watch much later.

An elephant you’re not

and these days,

you’re not much of a man, either.
