It can get complicated 

when you want a cup of java

and you can’t understand 

the cup sizes.

And the standoffish server

is ever so condescending.

I think small, medium, large 

are perfectly fine.

I didn’t mean to offend you

by not ordering a venti 

or a grande.

Ordering a demi

will only make me feel horny.  

And should I be shunned

because I mispronounce

granday or ventay or ventee.

Am I supposed

to feel Francais 

or  Italiano?

Barista is synonym

for schmuck

who pours the coffee.

It’s just a fancy title 

for someone, who,

in real life

has no shot in Hell

at getting Courtney Cox.

I standing there

thinking of Duane Johnson

in a 90’s wrestling arena:

“Know your role, Jabroni!”

I don’t care if it’s ventee or ventay
