Devastated
I guess this one word can explain it all
The shock before the fall
Hurt one hurt all
A feeling of pain so deep
I now know why they call it grief
Ever wonder why words have so many definitions
It is because we use them like addition
One word gets repeated
We all know the meaning
But it means so much more
If we used them again life would become a bore
Wish this one wasn't in my vocabulary
I don't know how this came to be
All of my hopes, my dreams and my best laid plans
Just to start over again looks like a scam
No Father, No Husband, No friend
I guess this is how it turns out in the end
Should've waited gotten to know you better
But no like everything I rushed in now I'm the debtor
No more crying no more wishing
It's over no more hesitating
Even though I've accepted it
It doesn't help getting over it.
