In the time being
I know you know the meaning
of how I feel
of what's real
it's done willingly
I feel like you let me be me
you can see
like no one else can see
I'm not scared to show
the creative side of me
poetry is beautiful
on so many levels
I'm thankful for it
I release my thoughts
it feels good to get it out
but you can never tell
if this is really what I am about
just emotions
they change like the weather
sometimes I feel like
they really go together
sun is so vibrant
rain brings the gloom
I don't know what I would do
without poetry
I think I would be doomed!
It's better than picking up a knife
cause in all reality
