Cynical Calm 10-02-09

Cynical Calm October 2, 2006

Turn the music up til his soul, heart and ears bleed, loud enough to feel the speakers rhythm beat,

Symphoniously silent enough to hear the wooden boards creek,

Lost on a path, unaware of how he arrived here,

Loneliness is almost to much for his heart to bare,

Fog rolling in with no hope of it to clear,

Cigarette after cigarette, lungs calmly fill with smoke,

Brim of his favorite cap is his distant eye's cloke,

Fighting that burning itchy feeling in the back of his throat,

Every mirror present shattered into shards,

Ripping into bloody flesh of self disgust, all physical pain he disregards,

Unsure of what his thoughts even think,

Trembling nerves attempt to spill emotions in disbelief,

Upon the paper they appear and disappear as if written in invisible ink,

Heart pounding in the rain to savior his pride,

As if with the leak of water "he" would die, and "she" is the one to rise,

Feet unsteadily race the pavment faster then the weary path can be placed,

Un to his knowledge he desprately searches to free himself from is "her" undead and his own unborn face,

As if to be superman willingly locked in a coffin etched with kryptonite,

His heart as fallen reluctantly for a captivating bombshell of dynamite,

Loves vice grip is the only being to see beneath his imprenetrable disguise,

Though a power so strong to drive a sane man to an insanely suicidal de-mise,

He smiles as blood rages at an science fictional calm,

Complating his dreamy release as they rest in his sweaty shivering palm,

Knowing all will be forgotten once the sun reaches its undenialable beautiful Dawn,

He prays that his cynical calm withers away once the previous day is gone,
