I just believe
I believe in God
Like you and I believe in a nice hot cup of coffee or tea
Meaning, inside, it just feels good to me.
There is comfort there
Believing in a little miracle
But guilt and sin, not for me,
Makes religion a little satirical.
I like the story where we were made from clay
When I sculpt an ankle or nose
I feel good and can visualize the propose
I do believe he made the sun, the moon,
The water, the sky
I believe he put it all here
THEN things evolved, even stories for us to abide by.
I don't believe that I'm going to hell
Because I have never been Baptized
I don't believe in Church or the reason it was comprised.
Again, I believe in God
The part that just feels good
The part where all things beautiful were magically made.
The first things, the things that aren't quite understood.
