I took a moment tonight
And thought about some things
Things that are “important” in life
School, work, money, the usual
Stuff I’ve been taught takes priority
But no matter how hard I try
Nothing can convince me
That anything’s more valuable
Than the happiness I feel with you
So I guess what I am trying to say is…
You are what is most important
You have been for a while now
As cliché as it may be to say
I love you
I want you
I need you
