you've become my savior and my Lord

you've become my shelter and my shield

you've become rain pouring on the drought of my field

you've become the praise my heart sings every day

you've become the blue in my skies of grey

you've become the air that I need to breathe

you've become the one that matters most to me

to worship you the way I never could before

who would take the punishment I deserved

and still keep a spot in Heaven for me reserved

who would styill love the one whose sin caused his death

and still forgive me for my every single debt

who would hang upon a cross and suffer pain

and even after that would still call me by name

who would have nails in their hands and feet

and after I hurt him still wash my sins clean
