Jesus, for all you've done for me

I come before you down on my knees

not to ask you for anything

but instead to offer you everything

to thank you for the sacrifice you made

and the price you so willingly paid

and while you reign upon your throne

I will praise your name cause I am not alone

and even if I lost everything I ever had

and all I had was you to help me stand

that would be okay, with you by my side

even if the pain never ended, I would still be satisfied



I have learned I don't need gold or fame

cause they are only temporary and lead to shame

only you last forever and only you can satisfy

all that I need, Jesus, only you can supply

so I come to you now and lay my earthly desires at your feet
