there is nothing here, we have gone stale

I am nothing, no one but a simple female

everyday is the same, there is no love upon your face

I wish that I could pull some out and you would give me a taste

we are deaf to each other's voice, we don't hear

all the love, all the hurt, ringing in our ear

we are mute, we don't even talk anymore, only a bit

every time a problem comes up you say forget about it

it's hard to believe we were once in love

that for a moment in time we were united as one

and we needed each other and I wanted you

and we were so in love we didn't know what to do

and we walked together and took each others hands

and in each other is where our faith and hope stands

where is it now, where did it go

maybe it's gone forever, I don't know



our thoughts are just words floating in the air

our words are just unfinished fights that I bear

and I can drink the wine so I don't feel the burn of the fire

but it's still there though I ignore this loose wire

we can dust the problems under the rug, deal with them another day

but they will just keep getting bigger and will never go away

how long will they keep growing till they explode

then what will we do with the heavy load
