It's amazing how you were able to bring me to life

make me breathe, make my heart beat, make me so alive

and then just as easily could make me so dead inside

make me fall to the floor gasping for air as I died

and now every day I don't have you I die over again

there is this wound you left on me that won't mend

it's amazing how you were able to make me so real

and then leave me empty, so empty I couldn't feel

it's amazing how you were able to make me so alive

and now you make me die again and again every night
