I’m not sailing around the world
on my forty foot yacht
looking for underwater treasures
with the kids and grandkids
as my crew.
This part of my life
is gonna be like the rest
only a bit more painful
as death gnaws
at my internal organs
til I eventually welcome it
with open arms
