Last night it dawns on me,

This could be the last time I see you,

The last time I hold you,

Last time you are here.



Last night you took me out,

I never wanted last night to end,

But we laid our heads down,

And soon morning was upon us.



Last night it dawns on me,

I won’t see you for 8 months,

You will be across the oceans,

Away from me.



Last night I buried my head,

I laid it on your chest and cried,

The tears flowed,

Because it will be forever until I see you again.



Last night it dawns on me,

I will be sleeping alone tomorrow,

I will be leaving you at the airport,

You will be gone.



Last night you said,

Once you leave you lose me,

I fear you will be the one lost,

I fear that knock on my door.



Last night you promised to come back,

I am waiting,

Always yours,

I am waiting.
