to ask

if im ok

says 'you've been on my heart'

'its for you i pray'

i choke out a smile

through tears that are falling

who would have thought

it'd be my angel calling

she makes sense of this place

i live in

she says 'hang in there'

'its not the end'

and if things get too rough

and you cant handle the pain

you come with me

ill stop the rain
