The Day I Was There

Rain falling down on my face

I look into an empty space

No stars that fill the great black sky

The clouds they shield them from my eyes

The rain falls harder down on me

My eyes they blink so rapidly

I still stand alone outside

With my face still up to the sky

I hear the thunder start to roar

And the rain, it still did pour

But my position still stayed the same

I was not leaving until she came

Lightning flashes bright as I could see

The light it gave almost blinded me

But never the less I stayed where I stood

She said she will come and I know she would

Finally I saw a shining light

That came to me in the dark of night

It was my angel I knew she would arrive

To come and bring me back alive

She healed my soul and my heart

And gave me back a little part

Of heaven to reminded me I'm not alone

And his way will soon be shown

I went back inside to go to bed

And her words they stayed inside my head

I won't have to worry about my life

I know that God will make it right

Everyday
