Have you ever had a thousand things on your mind

when you can't think of what to say?

Have you ever been down that lonely road

that has no end today?

Have you ever been the one to ask for mercy

just to end the pain?

Have you ever put yourself

through it again and again?!

Sometimes, I know the words are there,

but there's doubt in me that you even care!

So here I am.

I'm bearing my soul to you!

Take from it now

while it feels so cheap and blue

because soon enough I'll be back to where I used to be,

and the only thing that I'll leave...is you.

Have you ever walked a mile

down a road with no end?

Have you ever gotten up

just to be kicked around again?

Have you ever stood up

to face a battle you couldn't win?

Have you ever died to yourself

just to live again?!

Once again the words are there

to bring me to life again!

So here I am.

I'm bearing my soul to you!

You better take from it now

before it rises anew

because soon enough I'll be back to where I used to be,

and the only thing that I'll leave...is you.

I don't fear the darkness anymore

even though I've fallen to the floor!

I'm still getting up can't you see?

There's nothing but you in this world

that can even begin to break me!
