Oh on this day let it be



the rest of their lives that they see.



For Lord it is today



that they will begin to find their way.



Some starting new lives,



some starting a new school,



and all of them following you.



So Lord, as they go out in their lives,



and find new friends, husbands, or wives.



Please be with them, so they know



that you're always there to help them grow.



Let them not stray far when they follow you,



and lift them up when they fall.



For then they will know that we love them too,



but you love them most of all.



Please forgive their sins today,



for we pray this in Jesus' name...
