Lord I know you love me
even when I hated you
and couldnt see the light
or that you loved Me too
and showed me whats right
I see the writing on the wall,
the words of your praise
shining through the night,
and through the light of all days.
I know now how you felt,
knowing that I hated you,
but now I know the truth,
that you really love me too
I used to think that your love was fake,
that you made me as a puppet,
with no eyes nose or face,
but now I know you love me Lord.
You gave me this soul of mine,
so I could be a light for you,
and only shine all the time, in your holy name
Even though I forsaked you
you showed me your love.
Even when I ignored you
you watched over me with your love!!!
