Sitting there
I was lost in the darkness
Gone in my sadness
Thought I was losing everything
Then you were there
like a light in my darkness
like a summertime season
Someone who cared
and then I started
to see you are my reason.
Standing there
Holding you in my arms
Gone was my sadness
for you I'd give anything
And now you are here
like a love unfiltered
like sunshine never leaving
Brought me to tears
and now I'm starting
to see you are my reason!
I've failed You so many times,
but You've always saved my life.
My ways are not perfectly You.
It's by grace that I'm saved too!!
Kneeling there
Held in Your arms
Gone is my past life.
For me You gave everything!!
And now here we are
like a prayer answered
like a friend who never leaves me.
Lord I am here,
and now I can be free
because You are my reason!!!
