Six-Hundred Sixty-Six Miles

The days go by,
But they seem slower than ever.
It's only been weeks,
Since the day I meet my lover.

He says he hates the movies where couples kiss,
Most likely 'cause it's what we both miss.
It was a single day of infinite bliss.
Now we're stuck with "666" miles parting us in a lonely abyss.

I say I hate all the songs on every station,
Most likely cause they keep me in constant contemplation.
The voices tell their own stories of a loving situation.
Once free, now distance is again our only hesitation.

The days go by,
And it's as cliche as ever.
It feels like months,
Since the day we've been separated from each other.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Just things we talk about it our free time, written in to one.
Just memories to remind us that this love is true, and there's nothing better for me and you...
(P.S. it's really 661 miles...)
