The Tyrant

The air was broken by planes that day

Through fire and smoke the steel gave way

Thick rubble and burn lied at their feet

Chaotic concern ran through the street

Torn out of the sky, the tower fell down

A cloud of debris spread down to the ground

Stricken by grief they turned to the one

Saddam's old target had now had a son

A tyrant, some say, but a leader none the less

It was time for his power to be put to the test

The people were pleased by this on coming war

But all failed to see this had happened before

The tyrant now had his cross-hairs set

The target at hand was a terrorists threat

He went through with a war impossible to win

But through time and frustration his patience wore thin

Then the tyrant's plans went a bit off track

So the bastard went and declared a war against Iraq
