The Apache of Aztlan

Folder:
LIFE

No I will not cut my hair

it is a symbol of Pride

it signifies how we survived 500 years of genocide.

So I stand up Brave with my fist to the sky

with a chest full of rage and a heart full of pride.

We are still alive.

It is the truth.

I am the proof.

Our blood flows through my daughter.

Our fathers walked a trail of tears to protect us from the slaughter.

So we dance to forgotten songs that are sung with forgotten tongues.

In an attempt to stay connected to the very land that we are from.

This fight is far from done.

I am repping from the block.

And I dont plan to fade away.

I'm planted on Standing Rock.
