Scrapbook poems

You said it was mine

you said I wouldn't have to move again

You said a lot of things

and like the fool

I thought this time it would be true

So I acted like it was mine

but it wasnt

I placed my roots here

and now i have three days

to sever all ties to this place

I was foolish to believe

that i could stay

Foolishly I came out of my shell

yet you didnt listen to me

I dont belong here

I should never have left my shell

then i never would have been hurt by you

So back into the hollow thing I'll go

You will see what you want in me

But you wont be able to hurt me

not again
