LINES WRITTEN ON THE NIGHT OF PEACE (LAILATAL QADR)

Night of peace
Till the blue of dawn
The blessed "Lailatal Qadr".

Muslims pray,
To God the Greatest,
More ardently on this night.

Ramadan
A hope for all those
Craving to be with Allah.

Mercy and
Forgiveness as well
And promise of safety from Hell.

Believers
In the One True God
Are the best of all mankind.

So said Christ:
"A good tree always
Produces the best fruit".

Muslims must
Be grateful to God
For being the last chosen ones.

Honouring
Every prophet of God
And affirming that God is One.

May Allah
Bless the believers
Living as truth's flag bearers..

True Muslims
Are not extremists
As peace is their trademark.

Tolerance
And live and let live
Is the sign of true Muslims.

Author's Notes/Comments:

"Lailatal Qadr" (Arabic) is one of the last 10 nights of the Islamic lunar month of fasting called Ramadan (Ramzan). It is believed to be one of the odd numbered nights of the last 10 nights and is described in the Glorious Holy Qur'an as "THE NIGHT OF DECREES" with an elaboration highlighting it as a blessed night of peace.
