YOU AND I AND A RAINBOW'S SONG

Life as it is, is too short,
And the journey is still very long,
White bursts through all the prisms,
Dispersing notes of a rainbow's song.

You and I are neatly aligned --
Almost perfectly -- on sky's charts,
Two mystics with a common goal,
You seeking and me, resigned,
To the Will of fates' Writer,
What He wants will matter,
Let us meet and discuss more,
At the planned and discussed shore.

I am not crazy, well, not the way,
As you often like to describe me,
If longing for you is called crazy,
Then even you are just like me.

You may nod your head and deny,
Give reasons while trying to justify,
Your viewpoints on the same topic,
Yet, you are (like me), a romantic.

So, keep yourself ready for the time,
When my rhymes, on your cell phone chime,
Love is a flame and its blazing fire,
Is beyond the foam of any ire.

Smother it or spark it at will,
Love just happens, unlike desire.
It's a paradise for hearts that live,
And like to turn into reddish gold.

It's path is full of turns and twists,
Yet love just loves to give and give.
So, quell not the blaze that's warming you,
Rather, make it glow more and shine anew.

The man who loves you is a seer,
And his feelings are pure and dear.
Untainted by negativity,
Hatred, selfishness, or envy,
Unblemished he is and free of lust,
And totally yours... he is already.

This world needs mystics like us,
Who blend in love and end the fuss,
The chaos and the mayhem all around,
With the guidance of God, Most Glorious.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I have always followed the UK English style in my poems. Colourful is correct as I have typed it above in UK English. In US English the "u" is absent and it becomes "colorful"...nothing negative intended here...just pointing it out to those who accuse me of misspelling certain words. I hope that I have clarified the point as lucidly as possible in this comment...Wishing all good fellow poets and poetesses the very best.
This poem is about two mystics who are destined to meet (In accordance with the Will of God Almighty and His fate writing angel/angels), very soon, at a place meant solely for incurable romantics with mystical tinges blending with their lust-free personalities...where light bursts into its seven fragments and composes a rainbow's song...smiles...
