A "ROMAN HOLIDAY"...AND MUCH MORE!

At a secluded cafe in old Rome,
I thought I saw Audrey Hepburn,
And with her was the handsome,
Gregory Peck, adding to the fun.

I rubbed my eyes again and again,
To make sure I was not dreaming,
And then her phone call rang out loud,
My sweetest friend, calling out my name.

This chapter of my present phase of life,
Is the toughest and saddest and the strife,
For a decent and honest survival,
Is like embarking on a "Gulliver's travel".

And in between rough times and a day,
I love to slink into "Roman Holiday".
And my Audrey Hepburn -- my sweet Donna,
And her charm hold me in full sway.

Maybe that's why I thought I had seen,
Audrey and Peck like they had been,
When they were making their "Holiday",
Then came Donna to whisk me away...

Where the "Harvest Moon" was still full high,
And where "Quiet Nights" shone brightly,
Where a bus took us "Away...Into the Night",
And the "Shadow of Her Smile" spread its light.
